Travel back in time to the 16th Century with Kings and Queens in North Texas! Scarborough Renaissance Festival is one of the largest entertainment events in Dallas, TX, Arlington, TX, and Fort Worth, TX since 1981.

At this renaissance faire, you will stroll through the village and interact with the villagers and other patrons that came dressed in character. There are things to do and see for all ages. All shows are fun and the bird show is very educational.

Walk through the front gate and grab a map so you can make sure you don't miss a thing. Don't eat a big lunch before you show up: people can't seem to get enough of our giant turkey legs! Parking is free, but make sure you're responsible when you sample our domestic and specialty grog.
One-day tickets may be purchased at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival and discounted tickets are available from participating sponsors. Season passes are available as well if you plan to return.

Scarborough Renaissance Festival is a renaissance faire in Waxahachie, Texas, conveniently located for residents of Arlington, TX, Dallas, TX, and Fort Worth, TX. Scarborough Renaissance Festival's first run was in 1981. The festival is open Saturdays and Sundays from the first weekend in April until Memorial Day Monday. The festival is historically based in the year 1533, under the reign of King Henry VIII.
The village is open rain or shine, but for the safety of the horses, the jousting events are cancelled.

There's always something going on at our Renaissance Faire. With 21 stages all over the grounds and 200 performances daily, how could you ever get bored? We run 3 full combat jousts every single day, and you won't want to miss our knights squaring off.
Of course, just coming here from the hustle and bustle of Dallas or Arlington is entertainment enough. You'll be greeted by over 150 volunteer performers, who transform themselves into old-time characters at our renaissance festival. From your local blacksmith to King Henry VIII and Queen Anne Boelyn, you'll be face to face with a fun and lively version of the past.
Catch our daily falconry demonstrations, conducted by John Karger of Last Chance Forever Wildlife Conservatory, and be blown away by the majesty of flight.
Our Renaissance Faire features over 200 permanent shoppes, which showcase unique handmade wares created by artisans from all over the country. These artisans come to the Dallas area to demonstrate their extensive and impressive skills in ancient arts like glassblowing, blacksmithing, candlemaking, printing, leather crafting and more. They create dazzling artisan items using time-honored techniques, and you reap the benefits.
